An interesting note! When Martin Damm was just starting to play professional tennis back in 1989, a little girl was born in the Slovak Republic by the name of: DOMINIKA CIBULKOVA.

If you have not heard of this fast-rising Star by now, you soon will. Ending the 2005 ITF Junior Girls ranked #5 in the world, proves a very bright future for this young 16-year old!
At the 2006 Australian Open DOMINIKA seeded #3 in Singles and #5 in Doubles, lost a tough Quarter Finals Singles match 6-4 / 6-3 to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova [#8] who went on to win the Girls Singles event. In Doubles DOMINIKA and her partner lost to the #1 seeded team in the Quarter Finals.
